CRICKET: Former India favourite Navjot Singh Sidhu admits cheating in Sharjah match

Whilst being monitored by a lie-detector on the ‘Bigg Boss 6′ show hosted by Salman Khan, Sidhu was asked if he had ever cheated during his international career. Sidhu, who is now an Amiritsar representative in government, said he caught West Indies tailender Courtney Walsh after crossing the boundary during a match played at Sharjah Cricket Ground in 1997, which India went on to win. However, Sidhu did acknowledge the error of his ways and said he was ‘repentant’.
